VACANCY: INJECTION MOULDING MATERIAL HANDLER

 ROLE PURPOSE

 

Responsible for supplying raw materials to injection moulding machines and ensuring smooth production flow by maintaining correct material handling and preparation.

 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

·           Prepare and supply raw materials (plastic granules) to injection moulding machines.

·           Ensure correct materials are used according to production requirements.

·           Dry and mix materials where required.

·           Transport materials safely to and from machines.

·           Assist machine operators with loading and changing materials.

·           Maintain proper storage and labelling of materials.

·           Monitor material usage and report shortages.

·           Keep work area clean and organised.

·           Follow health and safety procedures at all times.

 MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS 

·     Grade 12 / Matric.

·     Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment (advantage).

·     Basic understanding of material handling processes.

·     Ability to work shifts and in a fast-paced environment.
