 ROLE PURPOSE

 

The Injection Moulding Machine Setter is responsible for setting up, adjusting, and maintaining injection moulding machines to ensure efficient production of quality plastic components according to company standards and production requirements.

 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

·     Set up and prepare injection moulding machines for production runs.

·     Install and remove moulds and ensure correct alignment and settings.

·     Adjust machine parameters such as temperature, pressure, and cycle time.

·     Perform first-off quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.

·     Troubleshoot machine or moulding issues during production.

·     Monitor machines to ensure smooth and continuous operation.

·     Ensure production targets and quality standards are met.

·     Perform routine maintenance and basic machine cleaning.

·     Follow safety, quality, and housekeeping procedures at all times.

 MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS 

·     Previous experience as an Injection Moulding Machine Setter or similar role.

·     Knowledge of injection moulding processes and machinery.

·     Ability to read and follow technical instructions.

·     Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

·     Attention to detail and quality control.

·     Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

·     Willingness to work shifts and overtime when required.
