 ROLE PURPOSE

As a CMT Machine Operator, you will be part of the CMT assembly line responsible for producing products against EST designs and to set quality standards

 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate industrial sewing machines and other CMT equipment safely and efficiently.

• Stitch and assemble garment components according to production specifications.

• Ensure garments meet quality and finishing standards before moving to the next stage.

• Maintain a steady production output to meet daily targets.

• Identify defects or faults in stitching and report issues to the supervisor.

• Perform basic machine cleaning and maintenance.

• Follow workplace health and safety regulations.

• Work closely with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth production flow.

 MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS 

• Matric Qualification or equivalent N3 Qualification.

• Good spoken English and Math skills.

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment preferred.

• Basic understanding of mechanical or electrical components (advantageous).
