PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR

ROLE PURPOSE

The Production Manager will take full responsibility for planning, coordinating, and controlling manufacturing

activities to ensure efficient production, consistent quality, and timely delivery. This senior role requires strong

leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to drive continuous improvement within a fast-paced production

environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead and manage all production operations to achieve output, quality, and efficiency targets.
Develop and implement production plans, schedules, and workflows.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimise processes, reduce waste, and improve productivity.
Ensure adherence to safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
Manage, motivate, and mentor production teams, including supervisors and line workers.
Monitor production metrics and analyse data to identify improvement opportunities.
Oversee equipment maintenance planning to minimise downtime.
Prepare and present production reports and performance reviews to senior management.
Participate in budgeting, cost control, and resource allocation decisions.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 5 years’ experience in rubber or plastic manufacturing.
Strong production-floor management and technical understanding
Strong leadership, communication, and people-management skills.
Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and workflow optimisation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
High level of organisation and attention to detail.
Knowledge of quality control systems and health & safety regulations.
 Computer literate (production systems, MS Office, reporting tools).
