VACANCY: CMT MACHINIST

 ROLE PURPOSE

As a CMT (Cut, Make, Trim) Machine Operator, you will be part of the CMT assembly line responsible for producing products against EST designs and to set quality standards

 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

·     Operate industrial sewing machines and other CMT equipment safely and efficiently.

·     Stitch and assemble garment components according to production specifications.

·     Ensure garments meet quality and finishing standards before moving to the next stage.

·     Maintain a steady production output to meet daily targets.

·     Identify defects or faults in stitching and report issues to the supervisor.

·     Perform basic machine cleaning and maintenance.

·     Follow workplace health and safety regulations.

·     Work closely with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth production flow.

 MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS 

·     Matric Qualification or equivalent N3 Qualification.

·     Good spoken English and Math skills.

·     Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment preferred.

·     Basic understanding of mechanical or electrical components (advantageous).
